Impact

YANA was established to prevent suicides in the farming community. We do this by reducing the stigma of talking about poor mental health and encouraging those in farming and associated rural businesses to talk to someone rather than struggle alone.

I was experiencing a dreadful time. My farming business was collapsing. I realised the pressure might eventually get to me. I had heard of YANA and decided to send them an email to outline my problems. A kind person (from YANA) rang me back and we had a good chat. I did keep it together, pulled my farm around and am now thriving. So thank you YANA, just for being there
